Chantel N. Sanford, DPM

Dr. Sanford is an experienced Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. She then attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. After a two-year surgical residency at Cooper University Hospital, she moved to Cleveland, OH, for a few years before relocating to the Baltimore, MD area. Her practice focuses on providing personal service for seniors and people with disabilities at facilities or their homes.

Dr. Sanford enjoys serving the community through her podiatry practice and service projects with community organizations. Her slogan is “serving the community one sole at a time.”

A home visit means Dr. Sanford comes to your home to provide podiatry services.

Fees & Payments:

• Starts at $150 - includes the visit and routine foot care (toenails and 3 corns/calluses).
  
• Additional fees for excessive nail and callus growth; additional services require additional fees.
• Payment is due at the time of service. Insurance is not accepted. Cash, credit, Zelle, or check.
• $50 Cancellation Fee - fee for cancellation of home visit if not notified within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is insurance accepted for home visits?

We DO NOT accept Medicare for home visits. Not all patients are eligible for Medicare-covered at-risk foot care in the home. Therefore, we follow a fee-for-service model to avoid unforeseen bills and non-covered claims.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

For home visits, cash, checks, or credit cards are accepted for payment.

CAN I GET AN APPOINTMENT THIS WEEK?

Dr. Sanford works solo and mobile visits are in high demand. It is unlikely to get an appointment that quickly.

I AM A FACILITY RESIDENT WITH UNITED HEALTHCARE INSURANCE, CAN YOU SEE ME?

Unfortunately, we do not accept any HMO, EPO, or managed care plans for any services, including Kaiser, UHC, Alterwood, Johns Hopkins, Cigna, Humana, and others.
